As a result of warm and dry conditions experienced during March, there has been no increase in water available or the System Reserve this month. The System Reserve remains at 39,500 ML, and must reach 45,000 ML before further allocation can be made to entitlements this season.
The Storage Manager has released its fourth quarterly operating plan supplement for April to June 2018. This is the last supplement for the 2017-18 season, and accompanies the Annual Operating Plan. October 2017 Allocations have been announced by the Storage Manager. Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline Product has increased from 65% to 81%. Glenelg compensation flow and Wetlands entitlement increased from 9% and 8% respectively to 25% and Recreation entitlement increased from 7% to 20%. There has been no change to Commonwealth allocation this month.
