December allocations for the 2025/26 water year have been announced by the Storage Manager.

Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline Product (WMPP) entitlements increased from 19% to 28% allocation. Additionally, no allocation was possible to Glenelg River Compensation Flow, Recreation, Wetland and Commonwealth Environmental entitlements.

Above average rainfall and modest inflow during November increased WMPP allocations to 28% for 2025/26 water year. The first stage system reserve of 20 GL was also achieved through the December resource assessment, resulting in all remaining available water going towards entitlement allocations.

Future increasing in allocation will be contingent on new water entering the system through inflow or realised evaporative / transfer losses on the system less than the assessment provision.
